Holmbridge Rural Christmas Fair

Saturday 17th November 2018

Our Rural Christmas Fair in 2018 was a fabulous success!

Our volunteers from St David's Church did us proud with a beautifully decorated parish hall and their homemade tasty treats on the cakes & preserves stall didn't hang around long! The atmosphere was wonderful, with Christmas trees and festive garlands decking the halls and Christmas carols playing. The mulled wine smelled amazing and the cafe proved as popular as ever with some lunchtime options selling out completely - no wonder, everything was freshly made and delicious!

There was plenty to keep the little ones happy. Santa and his elves were there all day, meeting children in his grotto. Up on the stage, we had our children's craft area and the chance for children to write a letter to Santa.

All our stalls looked resplendent and there was an amazing array of lovely gift ideas for our visitors to choose from. We had a number of new creative artisans exhibiting with us, as well as some regulars from previous years and new for 2018 was an African stall, raising funds for three fabulous children's charities. With no shortage of variety there was something for everyone, from the little ones to the grown ups. It was the perfect place to do your Christmas shopping, for decorations and gifts, while supporting our local small businesses.

Our excellent raffle prizes were drawn at the end of the fair. A huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes.

We can't wait to do it all again this year! Thank you!!
